HIGH VEG ORGANICS:- An organic vegetable Co-operative at Highlands Stud in Robertson, Western Cape.

Ownership :- 6 shareholders and employs 4 previously unemployed workers.

Since its inception in November 2007, High Veg Organics has provided organically grown vegetables to the Highlands Stud and Graham Beck Wines Creche and Youth Center in Robertson. High Veg Organics also supplies organic tomatoes and basil to Burchells Foods and Pesto Princess who manufacture Pestos and Pasta Sauces for leading national retailers.

HIGH VEG ORGANICS IS A REGIONAL WINNER OF THE JET COMMUNITY AWARDS 2008.

LONG MOUNTAIN CATERERS & BAKERY Co-op Ltd - "Empowering Our Local Community"

Long Mountain Caterers & Bakery is a Co-operative owned by 5 men and women from the Robertson Farming community. This business received assistance from the Graham & Rhona Beck Development Trust as well as the St Patricks Trust.

With premises in the newly completed Graham & Rhona Beck Skills Centre in Robertson, Long Mountain Caterers & Bakery provides a full catering service facility to the Skills Centre with a bakery that supplies freshly baked bread on a daily basis to farm workers and schools in the area.
